I was in North Perth, using a Diamond D-777 antenna and Uniden UBC-780XLT, connected with RG-213. Great combination for picking up milair UHF. Of course if the aircaft are 'at altitude' it helps! I've just moved to Mount Hawthorn, haven't set up the gear yet but the new house is quite high up so I'm keen to get up and running.

C17 went over my house low and fast Tuesday Afternoon, to join finals for RWY 21, I would guess it was bring back the fallen solder.
