Rescue 65 spotted searching for a beacon in the bush north of YPJT at 1530. found the beacon in a pile of trash.

heard on freq:

Tower: "some people are so ignorant"
RSQ65 "yes, well we did have better things to do, but anyway"

Pictures to follow!

Ultralight/Parachute Ultralight slowing cruising the North Metro/Wanaroo area at the moment. Doing maybe 20knots, very noisy :)
"VKI, NJ050 will you be attending the job?"
"Negative VKI, my desk is bolted to the floor".

I've seen a parachute ultralight flying over Swanbourne a number of times. It might belong to the same people who jump out of the Caribou :-)

Another contrail sighted 12:40, this time headed south. Possibly Dubai to McMurdo? :D
Any ideas?
