A fair bit still to do.
Does anyone know what happens to the current domestic when the new multi terminal gets built on the international side?

Re: Qantas Terminal Upgrade Photo
Which one are you talking about?
T2 where Qantas is will probably be used for a long time still.
T3 where Virgin, Skywest, Alliance, Ozjet etc are will most likely be moved to the new Terminal WA.

Ah, I was under the impression that everything was going over and wondering why Qantas was upgrading.
I'm looking forward to seeing it progress.

Re: Qantas Terminal Upgrade Photo
I'm not sure what they are doing there,
How ever I have towed JQ A320 onto the new bay 12, pictured 1st with the new Aero Bridge and have to say that is the worse bay to tow into, gets a bit hairy getting close to the steering angle limits.
Construction has stopped on Terminal WA, run out of money and no airline wants to invest in it, Sky west wont move as they are sleeping with the virgins and virgin dont want to go.
There is a new 2009 draft plan on the Perth airport website.
Terminal WA the apron is there, how ever the idiots that have power, need to dig it up again to put in the fuel hydrants, why the didn't put them in before they sealed it I have no idea, all but 2 light posts are up, and lines were supposed to be painted, it was rumored that we would be able to park aircraft on there over night, which would be great because im sick of pushing into the unlit taxi lane 3, with all the current breakdowns, and the unbelievably cheep price to park an aircraft (probably cheaper than the customer parks) at Perth over night, which Qantas are using to their full advantage, we are slowly running out of room.
The apron is made to a strength of B737/A320 aircraft only, the plan is to move Skywest, Virgin and Tiger over there, and Jetstar is to gobble up T3 with its expanding Perth Hub, JQ international now have a Pilot base set in Perth and operate out of our office on grogan road, until JQ splash out and rent some terminal space, how ever the recently vacated Emirates office space is asking 10K a month and JQ dont want to pay.
