Arrived as ZK-HUL and ZK-NZF, changing regos to VH-NZE and VH-NZF respectively

IFR Cessna 402C spotted at YPJT (approx 1145).

Opperated by Goldfields Air Services - Private Charter from Kalgoolrie.

Spent one summer studing them in Canberra. I love the way they hover-flap then glide.

Saw an aircraft similar too a Hawker 800 taking off this morning, can be seen on the flight tracker from 0815 out to Karratha.

It was hauling ass across the sky that's for sure. It was clear of the metro area above 10000ft within 4 minutes which by my calculations is at least 2500ft/min by the time it hit the coast from a west departure.

2500fpm is a fairly standard rate of climb for most jets - either in the 1st, 2nd segment and after the 4th segment on departure. As you could imagine - the rate of climb backs off whilst cleaning up.

It depends on a lot of factors the rate of climb - load on board, depends on whether rated or assumed temp was used, ambient temp, speed flown on climb, current winds and most of the time - the sid flown and atc requirments.

the 800 is a nice aircraft and very capable - there are a few of them running around the skies.

channel 7 chopper was doing some training ops at ypjt.

Was in the helicopter training area cutting off aircraft in the circuit.

Tuesday Night saw a Malaysian 747 Freighter in on bay 50 loaded with horses

Wednesday Night we saw a Singapore Airlines 747 Freighter on bay 50 Horses again from Auckland
