Sorry T. My bad... When i said "work over water" i actually meant helicopter work over water. It is my understading that anyone flying in a helicopter for work (i think that excludes tourism/joy flights) that requires continued flight over water must be HUET certified. A lot of helicopter work for the media would generally include flying over the ocean or river.

A HUET certificate is not mandatory but policy for many organizations.
