For those of you playing at home,...

The Beechcraft are all up for sale and will be retired in Feb I believe, then decommissioned.

So while we are getting new PC12's we are loosing some airframes too.

We are due to get another PC12 in Feb. We have been bumped up the waiting list as clients have dropped out due to the GFC.

Thanks for the info - this is a good step in the right direction - was at Jandakot last night and saw VH-VWO - depart for Meekathara with 4 POBs - interesting as they departed full length Runway 12 - left turn then over the tower. Very impressive.

I promise you this is what the VWO pilot called the Tower with - on 124.30 freq (YPJT GRD) - Tower acknowledged the request to use the full length of 12 for departure. Had my scanner the whole time.

VH-OWG has arrived in Phuket, where the ferry pilots are having a few days of sleep and shopping.
All going well so far, with mild headwinds and few thunderstorms.
ETA is Thursday.

Wombat,

Can you please tell me if the RFDS have got a new twin engine plane on trial?

Was down at Jandakot on a job last week at it looked like a very slick machine parked out the front?

It's a Piaggio we have leased while RIO is getting it's engines overhauled in the states. (8-10 weeks)

She sure is a sweet looking plane.
