Hi all,

Got access to the aircraft today (Special Thanks to the staff) and was allowed to take photos of it, inside and out.

I must say, a lot has changed since I last saw inside of her. 25th March 2004

All engines have been removed, parts of the leading edge, most of the inside under the floors, nearly everything from the cockpit.

I wonder if they re-used the parts in other planes?

Hi,
I act as a historian for the Ansett Group. I was with Ansett for over 37 years, before its collapse & acted as a historian for many of those years, including 2 fleet histories published by the Ansett publishing section.

I produce a free monthly Ansett Fleet Update e-mail-based list & a DVD every 2 years, or so (one planned for late-2011).
I would very much like to use some of your photos of the ex-VH-JJT, with full credits given, as I do with all photos etc.

Many thanks,
Fred Niven (Melbourne) - fniven@bigpond.net.au
