Doesnt look too serious from what I can see at the moment. Approx 4 boats had converged to a central position nearest the furtherest marker heading east.

The aircraft has been removed and no longer in the Swan River, it is as if nothing had happened.

Very unconfirmed report that the news helicopter ignored ATC instructions and violated controlled airspace to get footage of the scene.

Had a look at that, has updated recently. I got a bit worried when i heard about this, as i have a mate who instructs in those aircraft at JFC, but it says it was a 22 year old female (not good, but yes - i'm a bit releaved)

Thank god for the good timing Re: Rescue 65

Just learnt who the male was, I never met him personally but he was always just across the street from me for several years (offices) and I did talk to him a couple of times :(
"VKI, NJ050 will you be attending the job?"
"Negative VKI, my desk is bolted to the floor".

According to Channel 7 Breaking News tonight and from what I found here - http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/a/-/wa ... hed-plane/

A Cessna 210 has gone down 55 kilometres north-east of Norseman, near Lake Cowan.

Photo on The West's website shows it having a little lie down. Perhaps it was tired? :P
