this was my friends student that crashed. he was on a solo flight i have been told. it could have been a lot worse!
People call me an "Egotistic Jackass"... I prefer the term "Confident Donkey" --->Donks for short

Emergency Landing

Sadly a student pilot lost his life resulting from a mid air crash and his plane crashed in a house yard near a school.ythe other AC managed to land back at Morrabin Airport.

News flash on Ch 10, that an AC has made an emergency landing in Mortimer Rd, Wattleup, fuel spill and FRS called, no further details avail at this time,,1700

This info confirmed as correct. 1800

Happened on Tuesday 26th at Perth Airport, had problems getting people on board our flight to Victoria, everything done manually!! Then coming back on Friday 29/08, the system was playing up at Tullamarine. Had to go through the old routine for getting a boarding pass at the check in counter.

The decide to implement a new patch at perth only and cocks everything up, couldnt they do it in adelaide or brisbane where its alot quieter!!!
