That depends, though. If Rescue 65 is doing a P1 ferry to Royal Perth after a MVA and Polair is at a search and the casualty requires immediate treatment then they won't hang around for 65 to come over and pick them up they'll winch the cas and an escort (which may be a police officer that's been lowered down up into the chopper and take them to hospital. Polair is likely to be put in situations where rescues will need to be conducted with it!

Good example, then stop the stupid government wasting tax payers $$$ and buy 2 decent new choppers, we dont need that rubbush develoment on city foreshore or new statdium, spend money where needed, not just for the sake of it, get rid of carpenter,

Taking that into consideration the helicopters are SUPPOSED to meet ISAS (International Society of Areomeical Saervice) e.g twin engine, 2 pilots yadda yadda.... requirements. The 412 rescue 65 is CRAP, CHC flogged it to the WA government as they didn't have a clue what they were supposed to do and continually interfered with the laying out of the helo. And didn't read the contract. Many organisations require twin engined aircraft for normal operations e.g. Shell, Woodside, BP. As a safety margin. Other equipment is added over the required avaiation regs depending on who the helo is flying for and where. So many bigger operators and thouse who need to fly to higher standards cannot easily use single engined helos for multi work.

Good example, then stop the stupid government wasting tax payers $$$ and buy 2 decent new choppers, we dont need that rubbush develoment on city foreshore or new statdium, spend money where needed, not just for the sake of it, get rid of carpenter,

We still have politician who don't know what they are supposed to be doing and are typically small minded, thinking they are big decision makers.
Labour and Liberals have NO quality politicians at the present time. :?
