I've been experimenting with RTL TV dongles and have set up a ADS-B receiver. Antenna is a UHF CB Yagi which, bizarrely, seems to work sort of ok. Next project is getting a better 1090MHz antenna up in the air to improve the range.
Check it out at http://dump1090.vk6hgr.net.au
The receiver is a D-Link DIR-612 router running OpenWrt and the dump1090 software.
