Two USAF C17's In perth today
One arriving around 1100, to bay 56 leaving at 1400
Second arrving 1415 to bay 56 leaving around 1600

Rescue65 doing some gr8 training at Jandakot 4 the past half hour looking impressive. Appear to b circuits but different each completed circuit. G

I know nothing about planes, but what was that massive grey plane that just came over Perth 9.45am. It was flying low for such a massive plane, I couldn't see any other markings (looked RAAF?) had 4 engines sorry don't know much but interested what this was.

Thanks for info, I just had a look on Wickpedia as well. It was an amazing sight. I actually stopped the car and got out to watch it go over

I watched it pull up on the apron, at work, it is massive, someday ill get brave enough to ask for a look inside

If you that's big, check out a USAF C-5 Galaxy. 20m longer and wingspan 15m wider. Not seen here as often as the C-17 unfortunately.

Probably changed their rules since 9/11, but in the past, the USAF was more likely to let you look around, than the RAAF was.Nafenn wrote:kirk... its the USAF.... they dont let anyone in
