Re: RAAF Air Show at Pearce
Heard on 6pr radio today that the B-52 is flying from Guam and diverting from a training exercise. There for it is only making a flyby on one day.Any idea on what day that is any one? THANKS
Re: RAAF Air Show at Pearce
Hey allycat, if I heard correctly on the 6pr interview it is each day for the B52 flyby

Re: RAAF Air Show at Pearce
At Singapore, the B52 flys from wherever its posted, Guam or Deago Garcia does one fly past and leaves back to where it came from.
The indication from the commentators is that it only does it once, however it did make the pass on other days of the show.

There will be a Roulettes display over Cottesloe tomorrow afternoon - good opportunity to see what frequency they're using (has been 136.2 in the past).

Just been down Scarborough to take some photos of the Hercules & Hawk fly past.As we were about to leave we seen the RAAF balloon.Any way we ended up following it.And it landed in a Carine street. The local kids were over the moon.Ill put some pics up latter.
Re: RAAF Air Show at Pearce
Caught some very scratchy comms on 279.8 this morning. Possibly using callsign 'Cannon' which I understand is assigned to the 1 Sqn F/A-18F.
Re: RAAF Air Show at Pearce
Yes it certainly got around today, landing at a golf course that had no knowledge of it being a nominated landing spot and then missing its mark in Carine: http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/a/-/ne ... ne-street/
