Ugliest train or bus station in Perth

Hiyas.

Time for another pointless poll :-)

Went for a ride on the train today (testing my smartrider card) and ended up at East Perth train station. Suffice is to say I think that building is the ugliest example of 1960s architecture in Perth! Brown brick and concrete... I mean, seriously

What's your vote for Perth's ugliest station? Happy that Wellington street bus station is going to be torn down? Perhaps those modern "work of art" stations on the northern suburbs line aren't your thing?

Finally, what do you like/hate about public transport in our fine city?

Rockingham Bus Station wins hands down. It's still stuck in the 80's, sadly.

Rocky, Mirrabooka and for those of us who can remember Warwick Bus Station which was demolished in 1993 are all the same design.

From a work perspective Mirrabooka, Morley and Bassendean are the worst we have to deal with at work, non-stop cause of trouble.

In my opinion Wellington Street Bus Station is the ugliest and most pathetic.

cheers

Yeah. "Covered Shed".

Phew... Warwick bus station, now doesn't that bring back memories! (Mostly of the bus drivers telling me and my friends, "oi you kids! get off those bikes!" )

Gday,

For those of you south of the river, can anyone remember the old Booragoon bus station?

That was a thing of beauty.......NOT!

The old Kwinnana bus interchange was no better, I only had to go there a few times when I first started driving buses.

Thats my two cents any way

I've only ever seen it by driving past. Is it the actual station itself or, uhh, the residents? :-)

Rockingham is ok, I suppose. I've been living here the past 4 years. But that bus station *ick* It just gives me the creeps. It doesn't help that I got assulted there either. I'm glad I haven't had to use public transport in a longggggg time.
