I have sent two pictures of the Wagner C1-25 Hf manpack the SES used to use.

7 kg weight (not including the antenna)
Antenna length 1.8 metres
The unit used to recieve ok on your back but we used to have to place a space blanket on the ground as a counterpoise or run out a ground wire to gain any transmission efficiency. The whip size and make up made the radio operators job very tiring (particularly in heavy terrain) and they had to be very fit.
