Again just from experience they will try and pair up, though its not always the case. I've heard them operating at night but haven't seen them, they usually take a traffic car out instead.

Pretty sure I saw a single bike out last night between Morrison and Grt Northern. I'm assuming there would of been no cars at the station that night, plenty of visible patrols out.

Also remember that they could be on the bike heading to/from the office.
