I just read Gavins signature:
The difference between intelligence and stupidity is that intelligence has limits...
Laughed my buttocks off for 5 minutes. Nothing truer has ever been said.

So what is your favourite quote of all times?

Mine is
“It is literally true that you can succeed best and quickest by helping others to succeed.â€

Wonderful idea, i have been collecting quotes for ages! here are some of my favorites:

83. A guy and a girl can be just friends, but at one point or another, they will fall for each other...Maybe temporarily, maybe at the wrong time, maybe too late, or maybe forever.

148. The worst lies are the lies we tell ourselves. We live in denial of what we do, even what we think. We do this because we're afraid. We fear we will not find love, and when we find it we fear we'll lose it. We fear that if we do not have love we will be unhappy.

151. Somebody just gave me a shower radio. Thanks a lot. Do you really want music in the shower? I guess there's no better place to dance than a slick surface next to a glass door.

165. I'm presently incarcerated. Convicted of a crime I didn't even commit. Hah! "Attempted murder"? Now honestly, what is that? Do they give a Nobel prize for attempted chemistry? Do they!

168. My belt holds my pants up, but the belt loops hold my belt up. So which ones the real hero?

"As soon as someone is identified as an unsung hero, he no longer is."

"There's no present. There's only the immediate future and the recent past."

Some of my favorite quotes come from the UK version of The Office. ricky Gervais is a dead funny sod:

“What is the single most important thing for a company? Is it the building? Is it the stock? Is it the turnover? It’s the people, investment in people. My proudest moment here wasn’t when I increased profits by 17%, or cut expenditure without losing a single member of staff. No. It was a young Greek guy, first job in the country, hardly spoke a word of English, but he came to me and he went ‘Mr. Brent, will you be the Godfather to my child?’.
Didn’t happen in the end. We had to let him go, he was rubbish. He was rubbish!â€

From one of my favourite films - Ghostbusters (1984). Whilst standing in the destroyed penthouse of Dana Barrett (Sigourney Weaver), looking at a set of stairs that have been revealed...

Dr Ray Stantz (Dan Aykroyd): Hey... where do these stairs go?
Dr Peter Venkman (Bill Murray): They go up!

Quote from Ice Age;

[quote]“Manfred: Let's get something straight, ok? There's no "we". There never was a "we". In fact, without "me", it wouldn't even be a "you".â€

The SPEAKER [of the West Australian Legislative Assembly]: I heard an unparliamentary word. I do not know the context or how it was used. If there was any allegation against the member, I direct that it be withdrawn; if not, there is no need to.

"The very existence of flame throwers proves that sometime,
somewhere, someone said to themselves, 'You know, I want to
set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close
enough to get the job done."
-George Carlin
