WARSUG T-Shirts

Post by Rockjet »

This was brought up in another thread, would look great advertising the web site on a polo shirt etc etc with a single design with digitising of the design plus cost of shirt being met by the buyer.

What do you think?

I like the logo on sleeves idea, especially with the black polo.
If only the center of the shirt was a tad different.

Perhaps have the same images & text on both front & back?

Michael Keeping

This is just a throw around at the moment, Admin hasnt commented on it yet, just getting some feedback.

Rockjet its a great idea that you have come up with but I don't know if it will work. I remember a while ago someone came up with the idea of stickers for WARSUG members everyone liked the idea but unfortunatly it never got itself off the ground. Although from memory that is how the WARSUG logo came about. Good luck with it and I do hope for you it does take off. I will need a 2xl or 3 xl if it does.

I personally think having the link to the website around the collar (If there is one. And just having WARSUG On the back, and maybe the logo in small on the top left on the front.

Sorta yeah, but the shirt needs a collar :P I have contacts in the shirt industry, I can see what can be done and what the options are if it's needed.

I'm all for a WARSUG shirt, but there are three points for my opinion:

First, it must be a polo shirt (with a collar), not a t-shirt. Having a collar makes it far more presentable in a wider range of environments.

Second, subtle is the key. Just a logo on the breast pocket area, like most corporate wear. No big logos, no big texts, nothing on the back. (and a single colour shirt with one simple logo will be cheaper)

Third, the shirt shouldn't be black or white. White shows up the dirt and not everyone feels comfortable in black. Maybe a grey or blue, or pastel colour.

The key to getting more members to buy a shirt is to have something that everyone will feel comfortable wearing in different environments. At home, at family & social gatherings, at corporate & sporting functions or at work. As members we will know what the shirts & logo look like, and will be able to spot one in a crowd. And for non WARSUGers who are curious enough about the name/logo to ask, we can tell them.

My 2 c's anyway. Any thoughts from admin yet??
