I've been chatting to Space Club Toronto for a while now and they've encouraged to launch a Perth chapter.
1st project of the bat is a high altitude balloon launch.
Whilst I have an interest in space, I really don't know much about balloon launches.
I have a bill of materials from Space Club Toronto, so I know all the gear that's needed to make the balloon itself. It's raspberry pi, pi in the sky and skygate based. But as for ground station, receiving radio signals from this sort of balloon I'm at a bit of a loss. I don't even know where to start.
If you can point me in the right direction I'd love to be able to research some more. What's some of the things I don't know that I dont know! : )
Our first kick-off meeting is here as well so if anyone is interested in attending feel free, the more experts the quicker it'll go.
