Purpose

The purpose of this thread is to provide forum members with timely information on current road conditions in Perth (and anywhere else in WA).

On-topic posts

Items that would be considered on topic for this thread would be;

* Traffic crashes causing delays or disruption
* Weather conditions causing or having the potential to cause problems
* Livestock loose on the roads
* Road closures because of bushfire smoke
* ... anything else that would be handy for motorists to know!

Off-topic posts

Items that would be considered off topic for this thread would be;

* Police speed trap or booze bus locations (You can probably get more up to date info from your local friendly radio station Smile )
* General discussion or chatter (please use the discussion topic)

How can I get the most value from this topic?

In the bottom-left corner of this page is an option to watch the topic for new replies. The software running this board will automatically send an email to the address used in your profile if a new posting is made to a watched topic.

This will be of most use to our forum members associated with the media, but of course is available for anyone to monitor or post to.

Housekeeping

Periodically, this thread will have older posts removed. This is just to keep things tidy, not because the post was inappropriate Smile

If you want to discuss any of the alerts posted in here, please use this topic instead.

If forum members have any questions about the information above, or want to discuss adding or removing items to the on or off topic lists, please send me or any other mod or admin a message, or post in the discussion topic.
