Agreed! I like looking for new vehicles and such, but it makes life easier if you've seen a picture of exactly what you're looking for! :) Plus for those that live out of town, I'm sure they'd appreciate seeing a picture of the orange Christmas tree :P

The use of amber beacons is covered in this DPI document.

Other wise you could end up with a yellow sticker for to take off your yellow lights. Its mainly to stop every tom dick and harry having a orange flashing light on the work ute.

Agreed, i see heaps every day, even normal tom dick and harrys cars with an amber light with a magentic base and cord going through passenger window, super crap auto sell them for $30-in the UK you actually need to have permission to buy them period.

But i guess whatever floats peoples boats

I can confirm from a friend that he was spotted tonight at a crash around Carine somewhere.

Apparently cops seemed to be 'ok' with him though a little anxious, as he set out his little cones and waved traffic through with his little light wands (whatever they are called).

So hes still around the place, obviously heard it from the scanner I assume, as my friend was driving home behind him as he stopped at the scene (unless it was a freak accident that he came across it) so my friend observed from a distance :P

*waits patiently for someone to accidently hit him because he was doing something he shouldn't have been doing.*

I saw him yesterday. He has labelled most of his cones with SL (I assume Saves Lives..) but I saw one with TOV (Town of Vincent) on it. I wonder how many others he has that may not be his...

Also, he uses flags (instead of a "lollypop" for SLOW DOWN and STOP which clearly do not work as they are only printed one way, and in the wind yesterday they were of no use, just confused the matter.

Yes going over the same subject again but hey, its a popular topic how this amateur can get away with doing such an important job. What are the authorities going to do if this fella gets injured or worse while setting up his cones and directing traffic!
