Hello all,

Does anyone happen to know what channel/frequency the APS use out at the Airport. I have no idea what kind of radios they use or what amount of radio traffic would be on there channels just interested to know thats all.

Cheers

hey Guys!
Awesome site you have here.
The signal is bounced of more than station. Each time the frequency is change to prevent people getting the full message.
Same as the prisons system.
You only get snipets of a message

Depending on what you went into. You would do your 12 months in theDetention centre to start with.I dont know if they still do it that way.But when i was looking into it,Thats what i was told.
There are many areas in the APS,Me personaly,i would love it.Its not for everyone,Make sure you know what you want to do and then go for it.

Now that their part of AFP they only do the Airports and Embassys in Perth . The detention centre is staffed by a private contractor similar to AIMS. Dont know the name of the company, The former APS tendered for the contract in 2002 but lost it to the private company.

From what I know of the job it is fairly mundane and boring but thats only what I've heard.

Cheers
