Can anyone help I cant get the squelchto work and like to know how to reset the unit?

Read the manual as yet?

Page 14 has squelch.

I have done that I can;t even get a hiss thats why i want to reset as i dont know if pressed a wrong button.

Did you turn the SQL knob?

Hold down 2&9 buttons while turning on the scanner.
