Is there any problems with importing unblocked scanners from overseas?

Nope. The frequencies that are blocked in the US are just mobile phone freqs, which is a moot point here because all our mobiles are encrypted anyway.
So they are in the US as far as I know these days as well..

I've imported scanners before from the USA.
