New to this

Hey all, I'm just looking for some help with scanners.

I don't know really know where to start. I'd like something I can have at home (Rockingham) and work on those slow night shifts (Cannington) and maybe just general travel In the car. I'm interested In picking things up like PTA/Transit Officers and others such as FESA or even Aviation.

I've been looking at something like the Uniden UBC73XLT but like I mentioned, I'm clueless
