Yaesu VR-120D Cable Programming Problem
Hi, I have a Yaesu VR-120D and programming cable (com1 connection) using VR120 Commander software V0.1, I can read from the VR-120D into the software but can not write to the VR-120D everytime this is tried an error message appears on the VR screen "err 16" can anyone help with this problem .... Thanks Barry

I moved this post from the Amateur section. The VR-120D is a receiver. Hopefully more people will see the post here and someone can help.

I don't have one but I did have a look at the VR120 Commander website. I noticed that it says
"Currently, only the US version of the VR-120 is supported. " Could the problem be yours is not a US version?

Hello, thanks for your reply and help, I do not know how to tell the difference between the versions mentioned, the unit was purchased in Hong Kong, can someone advise ...... Thanks Barry
