UBC 760XLT Programming

Post by auntys_eyes »

I have just inherited a UBC 760XLT. Is it possible to delete or clear the frequencies stored in the channel memories? I know i can over write them with a new frequency, but can you reset or clear them? I know i can "lock-out" channels i don't want, i just find it frustrating having stuff in there i don't need

try saving 000.00 as a frequency, I'm pretty certain on my 93 XLT when I save that it locks it out.

Try this: Lock out the frequencies you dont want. Then hold down the lockout button for 3 seconds, this should clear all the locked out frequencies.

Thanks Always. That instruction is in the ops maunual for this unit but all it does is "clear" the lock-out status for locked out channels, and returns them to be scanned. Channels with 000.000 stay locked out, but it does not clear or delete the stored frequency information on other channels.

Any other thoughts??

Not sure you can delete frequencies, but you can clear the whole device (hold 2, 9 and manual when turning on)
