UBC3500XLT

I'm thinking about purchasing the UBC3500XLT from England as a scanner, does anyone know of any nuances that i may have from purchasing a scanner from Europe? Or is anyone a recommend a scanner that is available in Australia?

Hi u will not have any problems when u get the radio the Uniden-3500 got a wide frequency coverage can also get control software locally i would recomend the Icom-RX7 excellent receiver but it takes a while to learn how to use it but u cannot get control software for it the only software u can get is from icom to upload the receiver with frequencies & change settings.
