WA Radio Scanner Users' Group

I'm after a radio scanner, manly to listen to fesa and the water bombers and wondered if the following will receive the frequencies

Both would be fine.I think fesa have 100 frequancys.So the more frequancys the better.If you want better reception it helps to get an outside antenna.Or stand on your roof. I have an arial on my 2 story roof and i can get Mandurah,Lancerlin,Northam from central Perth area.

I suspect all three models have pretty much the same sensitivity etc, so you probably need to consider price mainly.
Both these are on special according to Prestige. They all cover the WAERN frequencies and air band as well as commercial UHF.

72 and 92 are the older model so if you can get the 73 or 93 XLT's both are good, the only difference is the number of channels.

Going to get one soon, probably 93 XLT. I wasn't too sure which was which and what they did

The 92/93XLT also does the 800MHz Band. Not that there is much up that way, but it depends what you are interested in.
