Hi, I'm new to this forum but not new to Amateur Radio and Scanning. I have a Yaesu VX 3R but find the stock antenna a little deaf on some freq's, I've been looking at Diamond antennas to replace the rubber duck on the VX 3R but the more I research the more confused I get.
Can you advise me as to which one I need, the wider the band width the better?
Regards, Pablo.

Hi Pablo, I use one of these on my VX-3R and it works a lot better than the supplied antenna:Pablo wrote:Can you advise me as to which one I need, the wider the band width the better?

The price includes postage. It's quite flexible. Do you use an external mike? It can be a bit of a tight squeeze to plug the mike in while this antenna is on.

Cheers, That's the make and model I was looking at, it has a good review as well.
