UBC92XLT Battery Notification

I have this model scanner and find the battery low warning beeping far too early. I can continue listening to it for hours and hours while it's beeping so the battery is obviously fine.

Is there some way to disable this feature as it gets extremely annoying...

Check the individual cells if you can as you will probably find 1 or more cells down. Still has enough volts to run scanner but measures low volts.
