Uniden UBC60XLT - help please....

I have been given one of these, programmed codes in, got instruction manual from uniden site, but cant get anything, The only noise out of it is when i turn up the squelch! The L/O indicator is permanently on, cant seem to get rid of it, anyone familiar with this model or can help would be great

You might be out of range to pick up any traffic, but with the L/O out function try press and hold it for about 5 secs this should cancel all the the current L/O channels. Other than that i would maybe try to pick up something you know is transmitting like a cb....and see if your scanner picks up that if it dosent well you know the problems lies deeper than a simple L/O

have any more probs im on msn a fair bit i may be able to help further....

No I tried what you suggested, and nothing, might have to take it to someone to check out, cant get the L/O on screen to go out tried all sorts, I should get a signal real good, got a friend over with her scanner programmed same code and hers works fine....but thanks for your help!

The scanner might be 'locked' or 'frozen' and need to be reset. Most scanners have a key combination that resets the scanner.

you sound like u have the same scanner as me is it a 10 channel scanner???
