Funny you should mention that. I'm looking for one also.

I had a quick look online and Radio Shack in the US has the battery available, but won't ship internationally (something I'm finding is common with American companies, much to my annoyance.)

I've tried emailing Uniden Australia on Friday of last week, haven't had a reply yet.

Have you tried Batteries For Everything or Batteries Plus or one of those similar places? They may have an equivalent and if they don't they can usually quote you to repack the old battery shell.

I dunno about Noddy but I did consider that - but I'm also not 100% sure how good the charging circuitry is in the old battery pack. Which is why I thought a whole new battery would be "easiest" - hah! :P

Just got the battery in my Uniden UBC3000XLT replaced. Got good service from Batteries Plus in Osborne Park. Cost $42.50 for a rebuild of the battery pack... much cheaper than a genuine Uniden one!

Just hope these last longer than the stock ones
