Uniden 92XLT scanner

Post by JWAT »

Hello All,

Got a uniden 92XLT scanner, just wondering how to increse the ability to recieve the messages or trnasmissions. Im having a lot of trouble in the Bertram/Kwinana areas.

Can I go and buy a larger aerial to boost the reception? or will this not work?

All depends on what you want to listen to. What frequency range/service are you trying to listen to? Yes usually a bigger/outdoor antenna is the best step but you also want to buy the right one.
"VKI, NJ050 will you be attending the job?"
"Negative VKI, my desk is bolted to the floor".

Try the Kwinana frequencies in this thread mate http://warsug.info/phpbb/viewtopic.php? ... highlight=

Transperth trains - Kwinana station 418.425MHz. Train control - 418.775MHz.

I hear these quite well in Wellard, I`ll do a few searches and have a bit more of a listen to the trains and if i come up with any good ones I`ll let you know.
