I recently bought a 2x second hand motorola gp326 16 channel(non key pad) and charger
i dont have a manual or program or anything
i wouldnt have the slightest clue how to use the radio outside of: turn it on,adjust volume, put on desired channel and talk to the other radio,
the range on it in the bush is around 1km, is that normal? it beeps here and there and i wouldnt know what for
do i have to program it a certain way?
how many kilometres should it be still useable at?
is there a manual that i can download?
AND HOW DO I UTILISE ALL THE BUTTONS?

any help would be great

Where did you buy it from? Didn't they supply anything at all... like a manual?

Sounds like it's a commercial two-way radio. Not much good without it being programmed by a Motorola dealer (or someone with the right cables, RIB and software)

According to Motorola, this unit is capable of 136-174MHz, 330-400MHz, 403-470MHz and 450-527MHz up to 5 watts. I'd hazard a guess and say you will need a licence. You might already be contravening regulations just turning them on.
