I have inherited a Realistic Hyperscan 2006 Scanner and have no idea what i'm doing!! I'm really interested in using it but have no idea where to start as, alas I have no users manual!!
Can anyone help?! I realise that this is probably a very old and possibly useless scanner but i'd be really interested to hear if anyone knows anything about it?!
Apologies for my lack of knowledge..I am willing to learn tho!!

What you've got there is probably a Realistic Pro-2006. It'll be about 15 or so years old but it was the top Realistic scanner when it was new and if it's still working will be a very good scanner today.

I have had its predecessor the Pro-2004 for nearly 20 years and it's still going fine.

The Pro-2006 is very easy to use, too. If there was no instruction manual with it you should be able to find a manual on the web, just Google 'realistic' and 'pro 2006'. Connecting a good antenna is important.

I like the bit about connecting an external taper recorder. Ãœber cool. I am a fan of retro.

Thankyou!!
