With the Pro-28 you must not let the batteries go completely flat or remove the batteries for too long otherwise the unit loses all stored channels and settings. Either that or leave it plugged into the powerpack all the time.
Like westernwedgy said, you'll need to find all the frequencies you were using before. The unit has only 30 channels so you need to enter frequencies you listen to and avoid dead freqs, duplicates and linked channels. Here's what I have on mine (I only have WAPOL channels, one for each metro district at the moment):

Code: Select all

Channel Freq
1 467.900 (Ch3, probably not used any more)
2 468.025 (Southside J)
3 468.150 (City G)
4 468.350 (Mirrabooka Z)
5 468.475 (Ch26, probably not used any more)
6 469.000 (Freo V)
7 469.025 (North N)
8 469.175 (East H)

I missed these. BTW, channel = Pro-28 channel, not WAPOL or SES channel

Code: Select all

Channel Freq
9 468.400 (Freo car to car and other stuff. prob not used any more)
10 468.600 SES (City?)
11 468.625 SES (North?)
12 468.650 SES (South?)
