UBC3000 XLT battery

Post by vk6hgr »

Hi all.

Just got the battery in my Uniden UBC3000XLT replaced. Got good service from Batteries Plus in Osborne Park. Cost $42.50 for a rebuild of the battery pack... much cheaper than a genuine Uniden one!

Just hope these last longer than the stock ones :-)

...good to hear about the rebuild, I have 2 battery packs for my 3000 and both are nearing the end of their lives.

Did you have the pack rebuilt with cells of a greater capacity ??

Repacked with the same capacity. Didn't see the need for anything higher than 600mA.r
