Need help with an Alinco DJ-X30

Hi, Somehow Ive managed to change my DJ-X30E to a DJ-X30EGR which has blocked loads of bands. I sure that it can somehow be changed back but not sure how to do it, does anyone have any ideas ? Many Thanks.

Yes, i did find out loads more about the problem, ive pasted below a copy of another posting to another forum that I did some time back. I only know the code for the European reset, but I believe this gives more frequencies than other country reset codes. Good luck.

<<<This handheld scanner is mass produced for the world but its band plans are set by programming for the country its destined for. Some countries do not allow listening to certain bands. Being new to this receiver I managed to default it back to its orginal band plan, which is for Greece. When switching it on it comes up with DJ-X30EGR instead of DJ-X30E

To set it back to European band plan, turn it on, press and hold the 'Function' key until it locks. Then key in, whilst its locked, 040813. On entering the last digit the scanner will switch off and then back on by its self. If done correctly it should come back on as a DJ-X30E. >>>

If you haven't registered at mods.dk then you can only view one mod every 24 hrs and I already used mine today.
