anyone know where they sell the UBC92XLT uniden Scanner?

What scanner to buy? What's the best antenna to use? Programming? Ask here!

Yeah, so in other words you don't get it any cheaper if you go and pick it up. :-)

Prestige's prices are good enough that I don't mind losing out a little on the free postage to get it a few days earlier.

hmm. it seams that the uniden ubc92xlt in the 70 - 80 mhz area only goes in 12.5 khz steps. THAT SUCKS! So i went and looked at the more copmlex uniden ubct8 , so many more features. still goes in 12.5 khz steps.

Or can anyone confirm this.

can everyone who has a ubct8 try and program this frequency into thier scanner and tell me if it rounds it off or it can pin poiunt to that exact frequency. 78.1875mhz for me to put that in a ubc 92xlt it will round it off to 78.1900mhz :x :? :!: :lol: .

But we will see what the results are.

That's strange behaviour. 78.1875 is an even multiple of 12.5Khz.

but as i said , if anyone has a uniden ubct8 scanner could they please put that frequency in asnd see if it rounds to a differnt.

i ended up biuying a ubc93xlt.
it works fine and tunes to the frequencies i wanted.
seamsd to be austrlian one.

if i wasnt a day late , i would have said if you dont want touse it to listen to cops , wait till the cops go digital and see how many scanners will go cheap then
