WA Radio Scanner Users' Group

I have just purchased the Uniden UBCT8. I'm new to scanning and am not finding the manual at all user-friendly. It doesn't provide the necessary detail for beginners (though I'm no dummy) and actually seems to give incorrect instructions at times. I know I could put my various questions to the forum and maybe that's the right way to go, but I'm wondering if I could have a half-hour chat on the phone (or Skype) with someone who could give me the answers I need quite quickly. Knowledge of any similar Uniden scanner should be enough. Anyone interested?
I'll be happy to write up the answers I receive and feed them back to the forum for the use of others.
