VFO mode on UBC72XLT

Post by JhG123 »

Just picked up a Uniden BC72XLT a couple days ago from Cash Converters. Big fan of it but can't figure out how to key in frequencies without having to program them in. I'd rather carry one handheld than 2 (My scanner and my Baofeng).

From memory I don't believe the 73/92/93XLT's have that. You need to program a channel. Just leave say channels 91-99 blank and its only a couple of buttons to "program" them. Then for the next frequency you can even leave it in program mode and just enter something else.
