Scanner Car Antenna

Post by synx »

Hey all!

Recently picked up a Uniden TrunkTracker IV (BCT-996T) to shove in my car and use to listen to dfes, airband, transport etc etc (basically everything)
i know there ain't an antenna that will be perfect for everything but if anyone have a recommendation that will work "OK" that would be mint.

Cheers and happy scanning ;)

One of these is your best bet https://www.wagneronline.com.au/scanner ... /11492/pd/

However performance might be a bit meh across the range, and she's a pretty long antenna as well.
"VKI, NJ050 will you be attending the job?"
"Negative VKI, my desk is bolted to the floor".

Thanks yorky!

cheers for the recommendation i reckon i'll grab one of those and chuck it on a boot or bonnet mount.
Range doesn't bother me too much, it'll work better then the uhf antenna i have hooked up currently.
