Better off getting a hackRF and a raspberry pi and making a rugged receiver out of that.

Despite the advice I received from here and elsewhere, I decided to buy one and I haven't regretted it.

I purchased it from US and it arrived a couple of months ago. Have been playing with it ever since.

With the Sentinel software its easier to program, I'm a relatively new scanner owner and already created some Favorites Lists. The display is fantastic.

When I opened the packaging, there was a yellow sticker from Uniden inside the box apologizing for the poor performing battery. They have committed to replacing with a better performing battery along with a new battery compartment cover.

If your interested im going to be doing some sd cards for Perth systems.Will be mostly DMR,NXDN.Will be places like Optus stadium,Perth Arena,Hospitals local councils and heaps more.Also open search for the trunk systems in Perth.
