WA Radio Scanner Users' Group

Hi all,

I thought I'd start a thread for scanning discussion tonight. Please post any frequencies that you may have and we can all share them around.
Unfortunately I don't have a digital scanner so if there are any unencrypted WAPOL channels like there was last year then I dip out.

So what are you all planning on listening to tonight?

Anyone got good freqs for buses around the CBD? Even just north (Mirabooka?) and south of the city would be fine.

I remember seeing a list of them in another thread but I can't find them... (even in the thread yorky linked to).

In the thread I linked to, last page:

490.450 Morley depot
490.900 Karrinyup and Joondalup depot

Although Morley/Joondalup does not operate late nights so only Karrinyup will be active. This is for all Path Transit operations.

so what else is active tonight? I heard something on 156.450 earlier, hopefully will hear the water police on that a bit more tonight.

WAPOL ch 11 468.100 has some activity, sounds like country. There's ideal conditions for long distance on VHF and UHF tonight.

Edit: was LNxxx (101?) Narrogin. Also heard Lancelin (on 468.300 I think)

Some Central park trunking happening.Sounds like stage and security in Northbridge.TGIDs 54032,54064.Stirling security on 416.9125,416.4250,415.6250,416.9250.Unfortunatly im not geting any WAPOL.

I am not getting any WAPOL either. The P25 unencrypted frequencies used last year are dead
