I find that hard to believe considering it happened #-o

Pity it was such a short run, should have gone all the way down the foreshore!

The organisers insited that the public not be informed that this was happening. Therefore everyone involved had to deny it was on. The media was on a very strict embargo.

Lucky then that enough people knew about it and weren't under any obligation to keep quiet! :P

I'm now taking his place... because some slacker wants to be pit crew on a formula classic car ;)

Anything I say is my opinion, and has nothing to do with/does not reflect the views of anyone I was/am/will be involved with/employed by/volunteer for/associated with. There, I think that should cover it!

Not by choice! I'd happily be flagging, but finding out at 4pm yesterday that the car I pit crew for is actually a part of the event was somewhat of a surprise, so my priorities have had to change in a big hurry :P

Nathan - wait till you read the "Notice to Officials" memo for one of the other benefits of being an official on the day ;)
