Subiaco Oval Events

Post by written_ficton »

With the AFL coming to Subiaco shortly, thought I'd post this little gem. Alot of us work at the oval with multiple frequenices ranging from Security, to SJA and Volleys

Anyone got some interesting frequencies?

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I now live in Subi, very close to the oval. I don't have a trunk tracker or digital scanner but I'll do my best to find something with my trusty analogue.

Before I start looking, does anyone know any freqs that are confirmed as active?

Here's what I've found so far:

These 4 are registered to Spotless Services Pty Ltd (Events management company)
465.300 Cleaning - (dish washers etc)
464.750 Catering (for corporate boxes etc)
463.625 Bars/drinks etc
463.050

These 4 are registered to West Australian Football Commission
464.450 - WAFC - Security & cleaners
464.025 - WAFC - Tech services (support for screens, projectors etc)
464.500 - WAFC - Gates (ticketing etc)
465.550 - WAFC - not in use

All of the above freqs are 1w output power only, and the repeaters are on top of the lighting masts around the ground.

The frequencies in my above post are all active tonight - they are 1W repeaters on the light towers so you'd have to be reasonably close to Subi to hear it.

On 464.450 (security channel) they are currently having some major issues with either some staff accidently holding in the button and dropping carriers, or there's an idiot around here somewhere with nothing better to do :x

450.175 - WAFC
