I had hoped to be there, but on of my jobs requires me to be on a course so I'll be out in the bush instead...maybe next year...

I was going to be attending, but i have been asked to go to sydney within those dates for some work commitments

We are dropping like flies! I too have to bow out, but will be there for setting up / practise etc.

Roulette's are confirmed as is the Qantas fly over but the F14 is notorious in its absence so far , all the high flyers lounge and race clubs seem to be at opposite ends this year, so should be interesting.

I am pretty sure that it would be 2FTS, no point in sending the roulettes over when 2FTS can handle it!

Ok so google is my friend found out what 2FTS is

Any way according to the official Roulette's website they are booked as follows

17-20 Apr: Red Bull Air Race, Perth, WA

So dont know looks like it will be them but happy to be wrong.

It wouldnt supprise me if they flew the roulettes pilots over, and used 2FTS aircraft

Does anyone know when Red Bull/Sky Media got there second helicopter, as I been browsing the web and seen many pictures of two red bull air race helis in the same image

i beleive they have always had 2 (they also have plain red bull choppers), one main one, and a backup - they had a static display chopper in 2008, i beleive that was the secondary chopper

Well, I'm trying to get myself organised for RBAR. I know I'm going to be there both days, just haven't decided which side of the river yet and what times.

Where's everyone else going to be? I know matt_au_70 said he was going to be on the South Perth side, what about others?

Well, I'll be in a hidden place that only has Maps and Radios on Saturday

And Sunday, I will be between North and South side, depending on who needs to be Retrieved (via SJA).
