I liked both - they're good in different ways. But I do still wish we had the rally as well ;)

I don't know if there's anything available just yet but hopefully we'll get to find out some of it a bit closer to the date.

Going on past years, there'll be a frequency allocated to the temporary control tower for the airspace around the air race, which will no doubt be published somewhere.

We have a few forum members who are pilots, one of them will no doubt find out for us ;)

Next Perth round in 2010??

Post by donks »

Heard through the grapevine that the Air Race will not be returning to Perth for another 18months...

Word is that the organisers want to hold the Final round in another city and have an earlier round in Perth instead.. And as it is not really possible for it to be held in Perth in 6months time (the importation process takes 11 months alone!) it is more likely to see the Air Race return in early 2010.

This is just whats been rumoured at the moment but it might turn out to be false.

cheers
