Hi,
I am new to this. I have a uniden ubc93xlt handheld unit but i am looking for a fixed unit. any suggestions would be appreciated.

that depends largely on your budget (unfortunantly)
To stop displaying signatures, go to the User Control Panel > Board Preferences > Edit display options > Display signatures > No > Submit
